Flag burners?
Whenever they show pictures of some third demonstrators burning the US flag
I am always moved to deep thought-where do they get those flags? You would be
hardpressed to find an Iraqi/Palestinian/whatever flag in the US,the world's
most open market yet in East Armpitalabad they have no problem obtaining
them
Theory- they are supplied by the Acme Flag Company which is owned by Avrom
Goldstein,Miami Beach

I guess they just buy them at the corner store.

Wouldn't be so sure about that

even

Honestly, there are specialised stores for that kind of thing. In most
countries in the world you have no trouble buying foreign flags of any
country you please.

Re: Flag burners?
You may have been moved to "deep thought", but not to any sort of
investigation. Flag companies all over the U S sell flags of every
nation. And although you first say that no one could find such flags in
the U S, you then go on to say that they are made in Miami. I don't
think you're in any danger of drowning in your deep thought.

Re: Flag burners?
Incidentally, it has always intrigued me why the Arab countries all have
the same colours on their national flags. I found this explanation:

Not so: In San Francisco there are 2 stores where you can buy almost any
national flag in the world. There is another in Sonoma CA.
There are thousands of Iraqi and Palastinian refugees/imigrants and stores
that cater to them in the US and they probably are well aware of where to
get there national flags.
Some of the flags I have seen in flag burnning photos from the west bank
were obviously home made.
It always amazes me the folks get so upset about flag burnning. After all,
we are the ones who offer the "stars and stripes" as a symbol of our nation.
Why should it surprise people that other people who disagree with us use it
that way.
