I was able to get an appointment with 3 of them in less than two weeks,
so please avoid "clich�s".
Just call your local EDF office (Electricite de France) they have a list
of electricians, and they remove a guy from this list if they get too
much complaints about him. This doesnot mean you will get the best one
but avoid many troubles.

The word is hyperbole, but none of the foreign house owners in my village
have been able to get electricians quickly without making friends with one
old lady, whose son is one.
