Default Eisentadt to Fertod Possible in a Day?

I have been planning to try to visit Eisenstadt from Vienna and then
go on to Fertod in Hungary to see the Ezsterhazy Castle. Has anyone
tried this? Is it possible to do in a day? Any suggestions? Thanks.

I don't know anything, but it could be a problem, that Hungary isn't EU
yet. That means, that the controls on the border may be very strikt an
take some time (i've waited on the border bedween Germany and Poland 6
hours somewhen)

You'll surely make it, 100 km fpr 1 way, crossing the boarder
"Klingenbach-Sopron" will take about 10 minutes depending on the
traffic. Mostly all teh Austrian from that region go/drive
cross-the-boarder-shopping in Sopron ("Shop-on")
