I'm considering a car rental at Edinburgh airport using a group called
Celtic Legend:

Never heard of this broker, but Arnold Clark are a big company up here so
there shouldnt be a problem with them.
Looking at the website http://www.arnoldclarkrental.com/ gives the same
prices as Celtic Legend so if you are in any doubt, you may be better to go
to them rather than a broker.
