Hairy Arse

I live in the UK.. and in 2 weeks time we're driving our motorhome to paris
(going on the euro drain.. actually cheaper than any of the ferries which is
strange considering the size of my motorhome.. but the chunnel dosent have
any length or height suplements, so i guess that's where the saving is :)

Anyway, while there i am going to take my fiance to disneyland paris.. i've
been there 2 times before, but she's never been,

First time i went, i bought tickets on the gate, second time i bought
tickets from the disney store over here...

The first time the tickets were about 20 quid each, second time i paid £14
each, this was 2 years ago now.

Ok, so the prices have shot up.. it's now 28 quid to get in on the gate, but
i can't seem to find the discount tickets anymore, the disney store i went
to didn't have a clue about the park tickets, claims they never sold em!!
and the disney store web site dosent list them either.

Searching the web, i can't find any tickets cheaper than the gate prices,
tried ebay, and they are selling for more than their face value!!!

Where do i get discounted eurodisney tickets from nowadays?

I read on a website (sorry i don't remember the url, but it was googlin for
disneyland paris, so...) that is possible to book them online and save more
or less 10-15 euros x ticket paying with credit card.
btw i don't have a credit card and i went to disneyland paris this x-mas. i
bought the tickets at the gate, 40 euros one adult,
one-day ticket for one of the two parks. it wasn't so expensive after all...

There are hard to come by. When you buy 3-5 day hopper ticket, you can save
between £5 and £8 by going to

In low season like now, best offer is package deal involving transport and
accommodation, but will be no use to you. Regular one-day hopper before
April is 40 euro or £30.

If you can afford to go all the way to Paris, you can afford to pay the
regular price for tickets.

It's always intriguing to see people trying to save nickels and dimes on

is from the UK, whose unit of currency is the Pound Sterling.

Thousands??? hmm, it's costing me £114 for the euro tunel trip (i.e to get
to france and back),
about £140 for 10 nights on the camp site.. that's all in.. electric, water
and drainage hookups, hardstanding, screened large pitch etc, and at least i
know the bed will be 6 foot wide by 7 foot long when i'm staying there this
time :)

On top of that i need a tank of diesel at our rip off prices.. just enough
to get me to dover area, then as soon as i'm in france i'll fill both fuel
tanks up on nice cheap french fuel (real diesel with sulphur in it too.. so
my mpg figures will go up while i'm over there)

And that's about it.. ok 20 euro's each for the carte orange metro ticket
for a week.. i've still got a few individual metro tickets from 2 years ago
to use untill the carte orange becomes valid on the monday.

and i'll want a bit of money to spend.. food i'll be taking most of it with
me in the cupboards and fridge.

so to us, 60 quid for one day in a theme park.. in the off season, when some
of the rides are closed over the winter season (like the speedway car ride)
is quite expensive,

Especialy as 2 years ago i got 4 X 1 day tickets for £56, and that gave us a
day in the studio's park (with a couple of hours in the other park after
6pm), and another full day in the disneyland park.. now it's more than that
price just for a single day in one of the parks for us.

Hence i really want to find a discount ticket.. maybe something the french
know about and tourists don't.. like the carte orange metro tickets, untill
someone tells you about them, you think the paris visite is the best thing..
as that's what they tell you in any country other than france,

But for the price of a 2 day, centeral zone paris visite card, you can get
an all zone, 7 day carte orange, you just have to ask for it when you get
there.. and provide a photo,
but even the RAPT web site dosent mention the carte orange when you select
the language for english!!

The same principle applies.

It's rather like watching people complain about a 15% service charge
(half a euro) at a brasserie when they are paying ¤100 more a day than
they need to for their hotel, and are going about town in taxis instead
of on the Métro.
