Digital Camera adapters
Hi
Traveling to Rome next month. First time with a digital camera. To save battery usage here, I use an AC plug-in transformer to the camera. Although I have the usual kit of European adapter-transformer plugs, I'm wondering if a special adapter might be necessary for a digital camera? Thanks |

Chances are 99 out of 100 that this is so, and that you will not need a "transformer"--you will simply need the little plug that accepts thin American prongs and puts out round European prongs--simply a matter of the shape of what sticks into the wall. I have a mittful of these, and the average cost is $2.99 each. |
Re: Digital Camera adapters
My digital charger came with a converter for European plugs (the $2
kind). I have to assume the current would not be a problem. On Thu, 13 Jan 2005 20:59:02 -0600, "Douglas W. Nowadays, I need a magnifying glass to read the print in the manuals, too.... or maybe its just that my eyesight is going. :-/ |

Our laptop charger "knew" that we were on 240vac in Finland with only a plug adapter. ************* DAVE HATUNEN ([email protected]) ************* * Tucson Arizona, out where the cacti grow * * My typos & mispellings are intentional copyright traps * |
Re: Digital Camera adapters
There is no substitute for reading the manuals. My charger for my Nikons
batteries automaticlay adapts to European current. You still need the adapters for the outlets. -- "These are the times that try men's souls."
