Couple considering Lech/Oberlech, suggestions welcome.
Browsing the web I found a site that said good things about this place ir
Vorarlberg, Austria.
Is it nice? We are a couple (without children) and we are not the skiing
type but we'd love to do tobogganing and sleight riding, and who knows.
We like snowfall a lot, and Lech seems to be pretty snowsafe (we are going
to be there around december 20th).
The website said it's kind of expensive, but how expensive? Is it overpriced
like other places we've heard of? (Zermatt, St.Moritz, etc.)
Also, should we go to Lech or Oberlech?
Any suggestions or commentaries are highly appreciated!
Thanks!

Lech is probably one of the most expensive places to ski. It's the haunt of
many celebs and royals. Consider St. Anton or St.Christoph if you want to
stay in the same area. St.Anton can be overrun with drunk Dutch and
Scandinavians especially during peak season. In December you should be
spared the worst.
I enjoyed Damüls - it's a lot smaller but less overrun.
Similarly Vandans, on the edge of the Silvretta ski area. A lot cheaper and
imo nice all round.
