Cats need Whiskas Cat Milk at about 50p for 200 ml!

Indeed. housing is out of sight, and our gas is 9-10 cents above the
national average.

And a loaf of bread is $2.99!!!

Keith W, were those Albertson's prices with or without the stupid
customer discount card?

Don't knock supermarket "discount" cards - sometimes the
savings are significant. (I save a lot of money on catfood,
using them.)

Savings on all sorts of things. I have cards for places that I'm within
800 miles of only twice a year but they are easy to get so why not.

This summer while visiting in Vermont I found that the local market
(Shaws) had wizened up. If you are a visitor they give you a discount
card that is valid thru labor day without filling out an application and
cluttering up their computer with information of folks they rarely see.

Spray some water on them -- might help.
