I know that taxis in Sweden are outrageously priced due to their
being unregulated. What is the taxi situation in Copenhagen? Are
they reasonably priced?

The taxis in Copenhagen are regulated and are required to run with
the meter on. Pick up fee around 20 - 30 kr and then 10 - 13 kr pr km
depending on the time of the day.
To give an example , a taxi ride between the airport and Copenhagen
centre (a 15 min ride) would cost around 160-170 kr.

Well you can also say they're inexpensive because they're unregulated and
you're free to negotiate a price...... and there's a competition between
the companies resulting in low fixed prices, Stockholm city to the airport
being one such example
They're obliged to have their prices advertised on the cabside and run on
the meter unless you've asked for anything else.
It's true there were some scams against tourists before they were forced to
advertise prices.

It depends on what you mean by "reasonably priced." They were some of the
more expensive taxis that I've been in, but comparable to New York or San
Francisco. Tipping, however, requires only rounding up, so it works out
about the same. Unlike some European cities, I've found Copenhagen taxi
drivers absolutely scrupulous about taking the fastest route. Most of the
ones I met were good conversationalists, too. ;)

That is only valid for local residents. Tourists and foreign businessmen
will not know the proper amount and so will always pay more than they
should. Taxis in Moscow (all of Russia, I think) are unregulated, and
it is common for people to pay 100 USD for a trip from the airport to
the city center, when a fare of 20-30 USD is the amount a local will pay.

Well if don't like it you can travel with the ordinary advertised prices or
travel with the fixed prices. I can assure you that the fixed prices are
quite competitive.
And try to go with the big companies as they aren't likely to cheat you,
don't compare with Moscow please.
