Can someone recommend a good hotel CLOSE to Tivoli Gardens? I
appreciate our prompt responses! E-mail privately if possible!

Raqdisson SAS is as close as you can get (across the street) There is a
good First Hotel (Top) nearby and an Ibis only slightly further There is
another cose by in an unusual shaped building probably cheaper, but I don't
know if you want good "quality" or good "low price".

We stayed at Hotel Ascot which is a couple hundred meters from Tivoli
although we never set foot in Tivoli. :-) We booked that hotel through
Expedia.

I don't know if we are talking about different directions, but if one
goes out the back of the central railway station (the opposite end
from Tivoli), one will see *three* Ibis hotels all within two blocks.

different directions there is one to the to the right and dow the street
as you face Tivoli from the Radisson or Tourist office.
