Clinton and Gore Criticize Bush
April 4, 2003
Take a moment to think about this. If there were a Kerry, a Gore or a
John Edwards as President instead of Bush right now, this war wouldn't
be happening, the U.N. would have prevailed, and I shudder to think
what our action after 9/11 would have been.
Since the beginning of the war, the media has gone great lengths in
stating that former President Bill Clinton is not criticizing the
President. He is presented as coming together and ending politics at
the water's edge. Ditto Algore. Then you read such stories like ones
from the Gainesville Sun, and even the Associated Press, that report
Clinton told a Florida crowd on Thursday that America needs to forge
alliances through understanding, rather than military force. Nah, he’s
not criticizing the president or anything. You can hear details of the
story, along with my famous Clinton impression, in the audio link
below.
The Egg is Starting to Fly
Al Gore said via videoconference at an economist forum in Greece, "I
would never start this war if I were President."
You know, it's funny Al, because when you were running for President
in 2000, you told the Iraqi national Congress that you supported
regime change in Iraq. But don't worry about it Al, you'll never be
president. You're not up to the job, and so much for the Democrats
leaving it up to the unnamed generals to attack the
commander-in-chief. On Thursday, John Kerry and Nancy Pelosi did it,
last weekend George McGovern carried that torch, and before him, Bill
Clinton, Gary Hart, and Jimmy Carter got their licks in.
The Democrats are as foolish and contemptible as ever and it's going
to come back and really bite them. You watch.

Europe.

You're saying that would be BAD???? (You're even more of an idiot than
you've portrayed yourself to be in previous posts here!)

I tried just pressing the "k" and it didn't work. How do you press
""? Do you have to have the beginning of the thread highlighted
when you do this? I'd really like to killfile a LOT of threads!

Hmm - I just tried this again (I haven't used since upgrading to v7) -
and it still works. When you have opened a message in the offending
thread, simply press the letter k - just as you would press the w, to
'watch' a thread. The entire thread goes away, and the next unread message
should then appear. The next time you open the newsgroup, you will not see
the offending thread.

Is there a way to filter by username? I can set up filters for email,
but they don't seem to work on newsgroups.
