You must have missed all the news last year when the media finished their
complete counts and found that Bush still won the Florida majority.

What did you expect from someone that believes that treaties have something to
do with the Constitution, but that the Supreme Court doesn't? He's probably a
whiner in real life too.

Please keep your "God" out of our government. Unless you think an
Arab-style theocracy like Saudi or Iran, would fit America better than
the First Amendment to the Constitution.
For your reference:

+++++++++

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or
prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of
speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to
assemble, and to petition the government for a
redress of grievances.

++++++++++

And don't bother me with the usual "oh, they pray at the opening of
Congress", and "in God we trust is on the money", etc.etc.
How it works IN PRACTICE is what counts.

You can practice any religion you want (as long as it doesn't involve
criminal acts like cruelty to living beings), or no religion at all,
as long as you keep your "God" as a private, personal matter,
which nobody is entitled to mess with.

The crowd that thinks they answer only to "God" tends toward the
Jonestown model, not to mention the Osama bin Laden model.
Thanks, but no thanks; I support organizations that maintain the wall
between Church and State, such as the ACLU, and Americans United for
Separation of Church and State.

You must have missed all the OTHER news last year when
other media organizations finished their counts and
fond that Gore one. And NOBODY has been able to do
a complete count, because there is now no way to tell
which absentee ballots were legal and which were not.

The Bush campaign insisted on counting ALL absentee
ballots, including those postmarked too late, those
not dated at all, those cast by people not registered
to vote, thos cast by non-citizens.

The only consensus that the media counts favored Bush
is found in the mainstream conservative media.

I don't care for Shrub either, but it's too late for a retro-abortion too, eh?
Get off you whiney ass and start campaigning for who you like for the next

Of course, treatiesy are mentioned quite clearly in the
Constitution, which calles them "the supreme law of the land,"
and the Supreme Court has whole paragraphs devoted to it
in the Contitution. I do not believe that the Supreme
Court has nothing to do with the Constitution, not did I
say or even imply that.

If the best you can do to criticize what I wrote it to

Hey, Boston Blackie:

Can't you shorten you "signature"? (see below)

Use 5 lines at most.

Smarten up.

By the way, what makes you think you can copyright "Boston Blackie"?

I would think the author of the Boston Blackie Radio series would own
that name.

I can understand why you'd think that. Coz you're an idiot. The *Boston
Blackie Radio series* has no ownership of that name. It belongs to the author
of the novelettes from whence it came. Said author is long since dead, so I
doubt that he'll be complaining anytime soon.

So, as you so pointedly put it....Smarten up.

The Supreme Court did nothing of the sort, moron. The constitution is a work

They do have something to do with it, but not what you've been blathering
about. The Constitution calls for its creation and defines it powers. It's
the Supreme Court's mandate to enforce, uphold, and interpret it.

U.S. Constitution, Article VI, Clause 2 clearly states.

"This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in
Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the
Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and
the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the
Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding."

Actually, the Constitution was the work of the first constitutional
congress, during the
formation of the legislature, and before the creation of the Supreme Court.
The
Constitution provides for the creation of the Supreme Court for the purpose
of
interpreting and enforcing constitutional issues.

Ya know what, you're right. Thanks for that cite. And I owe Mr. Dubois an
apology for that. I read that damn thing three times and missed it every
time. I obviously forgot the rule about posting after midnight.

The only consensus that the media counts favored Gore
is found in the extreme liberal media.
