Charles de Gaulle Terminal 3 (or is it erminal 9?)
Hi all,
Intersky has just started to offer EUR 29 flights to Paris from my
hometown. So I'm interested... Flight to Paris + TGV to Brussels might
yet be the best option price and convenience wise to travel from Bern in
to Belgium...
I have a few questions though. The flights arrive a treminal 3. The
confusing part about this is that depending on one source, Roissy CDG
airport has three treminals, named T1, T2 and T9 and another source
lists them as T1, T2 and T3. The last one is sometimes also refered to
as "Roissypole" it seems... Is T3 and T9 the same terminal, have the
just nog gotten around changing every reference yet?
Have a look at:
http://www.adp.fr/webadp/a_cont01.ns...le/cdgjour.jpg
This shows the routes of the shuttle busses. There is one from T1 to T3,
and one from T9 to T2 (and the TGV)... Strange that both T3 and T9 have
RER to the city...
So what's happened to Terminal 9?
Just as an aside. How long can one expect that it takes from the time
one hits the tarmac, via terminal three to the TGV?

I can't help you on the T3/T9 question, but ....
Years ago I arrived back at CDG on a French charter. We were delivered to
T9 (IIRC). It was a large bare metal shed/building. It was only a short
walk to the RER station - far more convenient than T1 or T2 at that time.

bonjour
terminal 3 does exist; it used to be called t9
it is about 300 meters from the train station, a not luxurious as
devoted only to charters and low costs, but still there, and within easy
walk to the train station from which you can easily go into paris or to
other destinations b train
roissy pole is next to it, but it is an area with offices
have a nice flight

Yes, Terminal 9 is now named Terminal 3. Mostly low-cost airlines such
as Easyjet fly into Terminal 3. There are VERY few amenities in the
terminal (lavatories, a couple of newsstands and overpriced snack bars).

It is still a large bare metal shed/building, and is still a short walk
to the RER station at Roissypole. T2 has its own RER station.
