Champs Elys?es "condoms"
 

For those who can remember the wrapped trees decorations on the Champs
Elysées for the millenium celebrations, which were finally remooved
before year 2000 New Eve because of media critics calling them giant
condoms... (search with "meurgues trees elysées" on
rec.travel.europe),
I was surprised to notice today that they decorate the 2nd page of the
tourist office of Paris website...

PS : Like them, apparently..., I found them nice BY NIGHT then, and
still do.... :+)

I precise that each tree lighting was separately and randomly passing
by each colour of the rainbow, since that's not visible on the photo.
