I did already :-)

MLT should come out of the chest freezer too, before he/she suffers
frost damage.

In my here it got up to -4C yesterday (outside, that is - indoors goodness
knows what it is, I have a Spaniard as a workmate and he's having trouble
with the Austrian Winters). -8C this morning. Too cold to be comfortable,
and not cold enough to stop the car freezing over. And not a flake of snow
to be seen. Bugger.

Er, well, yes. There is that consideration. And immunisations etc.

When it's very cold the car does *not* freeze over ?

After a few days of very cold weather (say -10 to -15), most of the
moisture has already frozen out of the air as frost, and the car stays
relatively ice-free.

28C here, thinking of starting up my boat over the weekend, but I could
be on the ski slopes in less than an hour ;-)

Near Boston, NE England.

Ooops I mean:

Near Boston, NE USA, New England.

I hear its moving East, if it gets to London maybe the Thames will freeze
over again and we can all blame Global warming.

Very true, at least I dont have to brush 5 inches of snow off the car this
morning, like I did yesterday. But will it start ?

I'd book a last minute trip to the Caribbean, preferably Aruba, the Caribbean
coast of Mexico, the Virgin Islands or some such.

Failing that I might try to book a last minute cruise to same.

If not that I'd throw in the towel and go to Germany, planning to do inside
stuff.

That's always the worry isn't it? So many batteries die in the colder
months.

Outside it is 2 DegC, the sun is shining, the rain and sleet has
stopped, but it's still windy, the big hand is on 10 and the little
hand is on 4.
