Default Car travel in Czech/Austria/Poland

On Friday I travel to Prague, Czech Republic where we'll be driving down to
Vienna, Austria and then back to Prague before driving to Kracow in Poland.
Then back to Prague when we fly home.

We'll be in a Czech hire car. My questions really are about toll roads and
toll stickers. As the car is Czech I assume it will come with the Czech
toll road sticker so we'll be ok there.

I've been to Austria before and know we'll also need a toll road sticker to
use their main autoroutes. However we're only in Asutria for one night
(Vienna), entering from close by in Czech Republic. Is it just the "A"
roads we need the sticker for or is it more? We could avoid them if so.

Finally from my limited research I think theres only one toll road in Poland
(A2) which we won't need. Is this correct?

Anything else we should be aware of as a car owner in these 3 countries?

Many thanks

JH

Not quite. A4 (Krakow-Katowice) is also a toll road. But in Poland
there are no stickers, you pay at the toll booths.

Don't bet on the for hire car have the toll road carnet already on it.
Car theivery in the Czech Republic is always a threat.

I can agree with both these.

But I can't see why they are connected

I think (but ICBW) that each Czech toll road has its own sticker so
you might need several depending on where you go. It's not that
difficult to avoid toll roads, though, if a little slow.

Just motorways and some trunk roads. Should be avoidable

Make sure the hire company knows where you are going and provides the
right evidence of insurance.
