I'm planning a trip to Brussels & Antwerp.
Do the tourist areas in these cities have a lot of cobble stone
streets?
If so, I will pack my cushioned training shoes as cobbled streets play
havoc with my feet after walking around for a while!

Most of Brussels is not cobbled but some of the tourist areas are. i.e.
Grand Place, Sablon. Pack the cushioned trainers anyway.
