It depends on where you are travelling to. For most journeys within
the Network Area (essentially south-east England) cheaper advance
purchase tickets are, except in a few instances, not available. When
travelling to the north or west of London cheaper advance purchase
tickets are available for most longer journeys.

That journey is within the Network Area so you can't save anything by
