Default BRITISH Air vs EasyJet - what on e to take

I need to fly from London to Geneva in June. I have asked questions about
various aspects of Easyjet and now need to make a decision.

BA fare is 78 GBP from Heathrow and Easyjet is 48 GBP from Luton.

To people that have flown in Europe please advise me on the following:
Taking all things into consideration (airport, restrictions, seat pitch, any
food on-board, etc) what airline would you take?

Thanks for any advice on this.

Both are acceptable. The main thing I'd take into consideration would
be the starting airport. What part of London will you be in? How
quickly, and how cheaply, can you get to Heathrow airport? To Luton
airport? The rail services to London airports can be among the most
expensive in the world, significantly increasing the cost of the trip.
For example trains to Luton airport appear to be £10 single, £20
return (round trip), £50 for 4 people, according to a page I found on
google. To Heathrow, the Heathrow Express is similarly expensive, but
the Underground costs only £4 or £5.

In my experience of flying with both British Airways and easyJet - I would
choose easyJet every time.

With economy airlines you get what you pay for and I have found little
difference between Easyjet and BA as far as seating is concerned. The BA
'meal's' usually consist of a sandwich and a coffee and on Easyjet you have
to pay for a snack or a coffee but it's not too expensive and on a short
trip, about 90 minutes from London to Geneva it's hardly worth it. I have
travelled on this route with both airlines and I must say I prefer BA, when
you add in the costs and the inconvenience of travelling to Luton then they
are too far apart in price and when you consider the normal flight with BA
would be around £200 return I think you are getting a bargain. I would say
that BA is better for punctuality, the one time I flew Easyjet it was an
hour late arriving in Geneva and on the return flight it was 2 hours late
arriving in Luton.

Enjoy Geneva but it is an expensive city, if you want to save money on
hotels in Geneva stay over the border, in France. Don't worry, from the
centre of Geneva to the French border is only about 4 miles and in Annemasse
(for example) the hotel prices are half what you would pay for the
equivalent hotel in Geneva and there are excellent public transport links.
This price differential between Switzerland and France is even more marked
when you buy a glass of Scottish whisky, the dearest whisky I have ever had
was in Geneva, it was about 3 or 4 times what I pay in Scotland.
Enjoy your trip, Geneva is well worth a visit, anytime...

So BA is 62.5% more expensive than Easyjet. Add to this the fares to get on
and off the airports (both). Then decide how much your subjective feeling
of BA being "more serious" is worth in GBP (and take into account that this
cannot be an objective criterium) and make your decision.

I've never flown with EasyJet but a lot with Ryanair. I assume there are no
big differences. And therewith there are no big differences to BA either:

Punctuality? When I'm going on leisure I don't care about being late an
hour.

Food? When I go by car I prepare some sandwiches, so I can do likewise going
by aircraft, right?

Seats? Low-Fare carriers are even better in this respect: If you prefer to
seat in the front you have to care for showing up early, in BA etc carriers
these seats are reservated to 1st classers!

You know what you can do with the 30 GBP? Buy me a Ryanair round-trip ticket
from Karlsruhe to Stansted!
