Do you guy ever give your Date Of Birth to a hotel for booking
purposes ( with your CC as well) ?

is it true that some CC company require your DOB ?

I once had to fax a copy of the inside front page of my passport to the
Hostal Toledano in Barcelona.

Never! (Of course, it's on both your passpert and your driver's
license, so they really don't need to ask, if they want it.)

Yes, or your mother's maiden name, or some other bit of "personal"
information "for verification purposes" - although I've often wondered
how they can "verify" information which I never supplied them in the
first place?
