Some other ideas for prostate-challenged in downtown Barcelona:

All "El Corte Ingles" malls have fully conditioned WC. You only
have to go up one or two storeys by the mechanical scalators, as
they never have WC in ground floor.

MacDos used to be an alternative, but those started to put security
watches at the doors.

PS. For the Brits, I really liked to have propper public facilities
anywhere in Britain. It's a pity many dark corners in Barcelona
become distastefully pissed.

In the UK, at least, nightclubbing, and just clubbing, tends to refer to
nightclubs playing (usually) modern dance music. I've got a feeling
that's not what you meant by 'night clubs,' or am I incorrect?

I'm in late fifties, leaping around and taking drugs to deafening
music does not appeal in the slightest and never really did. I
only ever went to night clubs to meet women in the first place
(and found it a crap way of doing that anyway). If you are over
40 how do you hear what someone in a nightclub is saying to you?
Also, isn't everybody else 40 years younger than you?

That I cannot deny.

Yes, uh, No, uh . . . but:

That, too, is not a valid reason. It's in night clubs that you can
hear the very best of pop culture music (jazz, rock, folk, and to
whatever the local culture listens) and song and see some of the best
dancing done anywhere as well as see some comics who are much better
than any you're likely to see on television or in major performance
spaces. You're depriving yourself of unknown pleasures.

Well, now you can choose to go to Reus, instead :)

Land in GRO, spend 4-5 hours there, sleep in BCN, holiday, then go
early to Tarragona and Reus before taking the flight back.

Sounds like a good plan :)
