Avoid France - arriving in London then travelling Eurail?

I'm about to leave for London on June 21st, I heard about the strikes in
France - although I'd like to visit France again, I've been there already
and it wouldn't hurt me to avoid France entirely on my 3 week trip. I'm
about to get a Eurail pass, and I think it might be better for me to somehow
avoid France - I wanted to take the Channel tunnel train, that's probably
out as a choice (or is it?). Is there a better (still cheap) way to get to
Europe from London while avoiding France? Should I not even bother with a
Eurail pass and do something else with my 3 weeks in Europe instead?

You can fly from London directly to a large number of European cities for
$25-75.

You can take a flight, or there are numerous rail-ferry combinations that
take you from the UK to Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, or Spain.

Eurostar is unlkikely to be affected by the strikes. You could get into
Europe by taking the Brussells train rather than the Paris one.

The Eurostar seems to keep running during these strikes and there are
also lots of cheap flights from London to the rest of Europe.
