In the dim and distant past, when I was employed, I always wore a suit (and
tie) to work. I doubt if *everyone* thought that I was a pillock, but I had
enough self-esteem not to care in the slightest about it. And the paradigm
of smart dressing, Mixi, seems to have deserted us but is now holding court
on rec.travel.air.
