hi. 8 of us are spending a week in late may at a rented villa in the
avignon area. we want to spend several days exploring chateauneuf du
pape and the cotes du rhone area which means we will be sipping a lot
of wine. since, we're responsible adults...sort of :), we'd like to
hire a driver with a minivan to take us out. i'm looking for any names
you folks might have or other possible suggestions. thanks!

hi. we will be there from may 20 - 27. would probably be interested in
either may 23 or 24 or both. we are a fun gang of folks who don't need
a lot of structured activity as we are all used to independent travel.
but we do not wish to be irresponsible and we do want to make a lot of
stops and wet our whistles a bit. please drop me a mail and we can

Hmm, how late in May? I have a nine seater minibus, I'm tempted to offer to
do this!

online, www.pagesjaunes.fr. Enter "location d'automobiles avec chauffeur"
(without the quotes) as the Activité and Avignon for the Localité.

Hi Jane, sorry, I misunderstood, I thought from your original message that
you were looking for something for a bit longer. I am too far away for it
to be worth coming I'm afraid. Marks suggestion of pages-jaunes is a good
one. I don't know about other areas but around here the only people with
minibuses, apart from the odd privately owned one, are the small local
firms who do the school runs. You would be unlikely to find them by
googling I think, but might find them in the phone book. Around here you
would easily find someone at the last minute to do this, but I suspect you
would have to work around school times, weekends might be easier?? Good
