Yeah, and the sad fact is in World War II after the Nazi conquered
France. The Nazis took their land and raped French women but it was
14 months before the first German soldier was ever harmed by a
Frenchman. Many nazi soldiers would walk unarmed in the streets of
Paris without fear of reprisal.
It wasn't until after the war that every Frenchman claimed to be part
of the so-called resistance.

Well, it was 14 months from the fall of France to the first German
soldier who fell to the 'Resistance.' And, up until mid-1944, the
Brits alone supplied enough guns, ammunition, and explosives to equip
the equivalent of a field army. The French resistance forces were not
exactly cost efficient.
German soldiers could walk the streets of Paris without their weapons.
And, in fact, Paris was a favorite tourist trap for German soldiers on
leave.
The summary was safer for unarmed Nazi soldiers to walk the streets of
Paris in WW II, than it is for American families in Paris today.

Paris is a very safe city today, easily the equal of any city of comparable
size in the U.S. (although I believe there are only about three U.S. cities
of comparable size).

>Besides, all the McDonalds have been closed.
Undoubtedly due to the travelling boycotters who will not rest until every pane
of glass at every McDonalds is shattered. Only by breaking glass at fast food
restaurants and clothing stores like the Gap will meaningful change occur in
this world.
Never mind the fact that most McDonalds are locally owned and the only people
they are hurting are their neighbours...
Oh well, at least they provide humour if nothing else.

Well they must have screwed up their plan big time. Canada is the only country in the G7 not to have
a deficit and leading in growth for the last couple of years. Do everyone a favour and do a little
research.

No Americans have been beaten or robbed in Quebec.
I watch local news closely for my blog and I would know.
The original post is just a troll.

True, it took one year to organize the resistance, but on the other hand,

Can't speak for the wimpy Americans that are afraid of getting beaten
by frogs, but I am a Canadian that avoids Montreal myself.
I prefer traveling around Queerbec and going through New York state.
New Yorkers treat English Canadians much better and even have signs we
can read.
Queerbec is more like a hostile foreign country for many English
Canadians.
I will bet they get a lot friendlier after they seperate from Canada
and look forward to bringing in those English speaking Canadian
tourist dollars.
