Default accommodation in The Dordogne

I am travelling to the Dordogne in September / October. Can anyone
recommend a small hotel (Ebglish speaking) with restaurant that doesn't
charge an excessive supplement for a single room for single mature
lady. Ideally I would like to be beteween Bergerac / Sarlat and not in
the depths of the country i.e. close to town / village

It's not exactly where you want to be, but it's nearby. I've
