Yes, I do, and I also listen to Lehar. I have a great CD with Fritz
Wunderlich.

Hope to hear the real thing when I'm over there in July.

I love all those operetta's. We have seen "Der Zigeunerbaron" and "Grafin
Maritza" at the Volksoper. Both were outstanding performances. July is hard
for finding operetta in Wien, they are all on vacation.
However, I checked the calender of events and there will be some
performances of "A Night in Venice" by J. Strauss, which has some truly
wonderful music.
Here is the Vienna site for events:

Have you been to Vienna before?
It is wonderful.

Enjoy!

Who knows, maybe Evelyn can join you two love birds for your "Peace Chorus"
or whatever and you can collect a few sous from the hat that passers - by
toss them in. I'd give a buck at least to see it.....

Another fab idea would be for you to stage that J. Strauss chestnut _Der
Alte Fledermaus_ (with Evelyn as the "Old Bat"....). Maybe you could dig up
John Culshaw to produce the recording of this.....

Let me ask if you ever post anything useful for traveling? Or is it still
this impotence thing that makes you want to try and be an annoyance with
your silly blathering?
But you still amuse me, so keep trying.

wouldn't it be simpler to hire a special hit team to assasinate Saddam when
he wasn't looking?

we let the khourds down in nortehrn Iraq. same is happening in Afgan. same
wil happen to Iraq - but maybe because that has LOADS of oil - Enron will
take over afterward for management.

Thank you for the website. I have never been in Vienna but my wife has
been there. I like "Eine Nacht in Venedig" beautiful music (komm in
die Gondel mein Maedel ich lade dich ein)
Maybe we can make it on our next trip.

Did you see what Morrow wrote? Maybe we should produce "Die
Fledermaus." It would be good if he were in the audience, but I doubt
it. If he really knows "Die Fledermaus," he will remember the line:
"....dann schmeiss ich ihm ganz ungeniert----die Flasche---an
den---Kopf"

Regards,
Sandor

So true. My wife and I first met and fell in love while singing in a
production of Die Fledermaus. It always has fond memories for us. You will
love Wien. How long will you be staying? Check out our first visit at:

Drink lots of Gosser and Zipher for me.
