Abolish The Electoral College Now!!!
It's time for Americans to abolish that useless anachronism.
Most Americans are under the illusion that they elect the President.
America isn't even a true democracy!
The Electoral College is proof that America's founding fathers knew
that Americans are stupid. They didn't trust them to vote directly
for president then, and they still can't be trusted with it now.
But now that the electoral college just rubber stamps whoever the
idiot population votes for, it's become useless. It's time for its
demise.
America should become a monarchy. Most countries with monarchies are
doing fabulous - UK, Spain, Sweden, Netherlands. The US is pretty
much a monarchy anyway. Just look at how the Bush Dynasty has stolen
two consecutive elections. How they schmooze with the Saudi and
Kuwaiti royals. Their long history of inbreeding, corruption,
scandals. How Grand Pappy Prescott Bush helped the Nazis. Not quite
the house of Saxe Coberg Gotha but getting there.
Hell, you're an empire with bloodthirst for expansion. Just crown
your ****ing king Bush already. When he invades and occupies North
Korea - excuse me, I meant to say when he liberates and spreads
freedom in North Korea - America will be the empire where the sun
never sets. Sounds familiar???

America never was a democracy, its a republic. Hence the line, 'And To
the Republic, for which it stands' in the Pledge.
The purpose of the EC is to give notice to the less populated states,
without the EC all candidates would ever campaign to are the large
cities. And the concerns of those densrly populated areas are all that
would ever be catered to, without consideration of the smaller states.
basically it would disenfranchise about 40% of the country.
The monarchies in the countries you mentioned are all constitutional,
they are figureheads with little power.The decisionmaking is made by
elected officials using a system thats not that different from the one we
already have. Real monarchies like Saudi Arabia and Jordan arent doing so
well..Except for their royal families.

The founding fathers were landowners who were the only ones who voted,
(no women, nonlandowners, slaves or indentured servants, Native
Americans nor noncitizens) and they knew that populations would vary
from state to state...the Electoral College had nothing to do with
stupidity nor trust. It was a good idea then and NOW!

Neither were "stolen elections", but "tell a Lie often enough and loud
enough" and it will be believed because most do not research the real
"Laws of the Land" nor state's election laws.

bloodthirsty? Looks like a good time to cut foreign aid monies and get
out of the U.N. American taxpayers could enjoy the "raise" from broad

Also, consider that the electoral college was designed to prevent the
"large" states from dominating the "small" states. Now, by definition 50% of
the states are "small". How many states are needed to amend the
Constitution? How would you get all of those "small" states to agree to give
up the only small edge they now have? No, the answer is to live with it and
move to Montana, where your vote for president counts 3X what it does in
California or Texas.
