Have they also determioned how they're going to get a constitutional
amendment through before the scheduled election date? (IIRC, the date
is fixed by our constitution - it's not just something settled upon by
someone's whim!)

I wonder if Europe will accept "political refugees" from this continent?

No. Send them to the Antarctic.

Do you realize that the more you left wing whack-jobs make Bush-Hitler
comparisons, the more likely it is for voters to simply discount
anything left-wing people have to say because such a comparison is not
credible to the mainstream? Only in your own little circle of friends
would anyone believe it.

I suspect that's what many Germans believed about the polictical
situation there, in 1933! (Maybe some of us ARE being paranoid, but
better a little paranoia, now, than regretting our national complacency
when it's too late.)

I've never voted for a Democratic president, congressperson, or
senator in my life, so I'm hardly left wing. And I do not care what
a Fox News watcher like you thinks. Hint: the BBC, the source I
quoted, is the most respected news organization in the world. But
your mind is already made up about world affairs, so why let facts
get in the way?

This was a report of real news...I saw no comparisons of Bush to
anyone in this article (which was a Brit source by the way)......this
included quotes form administration officials...these same officials
were on the tv news last night...it wasn't 2nd hand reporting of what
they said...it was them...

But if one does want comparisons to the Bush policies, check out:

They accepted Earl Elveth!

But then again his 'political baggage' is packed with fat US S.S. and
Corporate US retirement checks to spent there...
