There are some motels in Kilbirnie, a suburb close by, if you want to put
your head down for short time. The 747 Motel is one that comes to mind;
look in www.yellowpages.co.nz for others.

You'll be able to get a taxi there from the airport - I'd guess the fare
would be around $NZ 10. If you'll be bringing your ATM card with you, you'll
find a cash machine near the domestic baggage carousel. The taxis are right
outside the main exit doors.

Exactly, how plane leaves at 6:00am therefore, we want somewhere to stay
between the time we leave our car at the car rental place and 4:00am, BTW,
is there a hotel at Wellington Airport?
