Default Travelling in Australia

Hi! Im planing a three-week trip to Australia. I am a student and
obviously I haven´t too much money to spend so I´m not planing to sleep
in the top end luxury hotels... Can anybody of you tell me how much
money I will spend more or less in three-weeks enjoying Australia on a
low-budget level? Thanks!

I haven't decided on the exact route yet, but will probably travel to
some typical tourist places, as this is my first stay. I start in Sydney
and may then go to Canberra and Melbourne, but I often change plans. I
would like opinions on the rough cost of such a trip, food and
accomodation, bus transportation and maybe other things I do not think
of - all geared towards a rather low-budget traveller.

Thanks!
