I'll be going to Sydney soon, and would like to know where in Sydney
to shop for this stuff, as cheap as possible:
- Digital camera
- DVD's/CD's
- Levis' outfit/clothes
I'll be staying in Darling Harbour, so hpefully the shops will be in
that area, but any recommondation will be appreciated!
Thanks,
Geir L, Norway

The Darling Harbour area is close to the Central Business Area of Sydney.
The shopping available is competitive and you would have little trouble in
obtaining a good price on the goods you are seeking. The weekend markets at
Paddys, also nearby, offer the lower end of consumer goods and you can pick
a bargain, but beware of "rip-offs".
Have a great time in Sydney.

Thank you for your answer!
Another question; I guess that the local newspapers sometimes announce
the local bargains and sales, but which newspaper should I go for in
Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart (Tasmania)?
Thanks again!

Whilst there are the normal daily bargains, the major sales are held in July
and January.
The Telegraph is the newspaper to look for in Sydney.
