Unfortunately, you arrive a few years too late to sample "Cairns Draught"
with the marlin on the label. What a great beer! I've got no idea why they
stopped that one.

Cascade Premium, comes from Hobart, now available in various places on the mainland.....truly gorgeous strong lager!
Anyone in Qld, there is now a chain called the Liquor Superstore which sells a lovely large variety of real UK beer - Speckled Hen, Hobgoblin, Abbots Ale, et al. Heavenly place for those of us yearning for real beer instead of lager all the time. Aussies just don't understand "beer" in the sense Brits know it, so this is a real find!

Yes. Australia being a rather warm country, its citizens are inclined to
put the beer in the esky before imbibing.....

When I was in Aussia & NZ for 2 weeks.... I drank mostly XXXX Beer
and it was happy just drinkin' that most of the time. :^)
