You are betraying your ignorance and stereotyping - NZ has been voted most
desired /most popular destination by a number of the world's leading reader
polls in recent years (pre LOTR) including Lonely Planet & Conde Nast
Traveller. Many of the nearly 3 million visitors to NZ each year have no
desire to continue on to Australia but equally a large number will do so as
part of a "once-in-a-lifetime" trip just as I visited France, Italy & Spain
together on one trip to Europe - better to see a little of each & decide
which to return to next time.
