Airport transfer to hostel
Hi all,
does anybody know if there's any hostel in Christchurch, which offers a free
pickup from the airport? Several hostels in Oz do so...
One other question... I will spend 8 days in NZ at the end of August,
beginning of September. I was thinking about seeing a lot of the South
Island with Magicbus (Transalpine train to Greymouth, Franz Josef glacier,
Queenstown, Milford Sound, Dunedin...). Now I heard of Contiki, which offers
more organized tours, however if I went with them I couldn't see as much as
I could with Magicbus. Does anybody know of other offers similar to Contiki,
offering more organized tours, which contain a similar itinerary like
Magicbus?
Thanks a lot for your help!
Cheers,
Thomas

The Stonehurst hostel used to have a pick up service from the
airport....not sure if it still does.
For your travels around the South Island there is also KiwiExperience
buses....Think you are best to do a tour on your own Contiki is very
organisied and good but restrictive. The other options allow you more
freedom
