Default Airfares Sydney to Brisbane to Cairns to Sydney

Hi all and thanks for reading this.
My wife and myself are travelling to OZ in October for 6 weeks and we would
like to travel from Sydney up to Cairns, stopping off en route.
I would be grateful if someone could let me know how much it would cost to
fly from Syd to Brisbane, Brisbane to Cairns and finally Cairns back to Syd.
If anyone knows of sites where I could look that would be great too.
Thanks in advance
Geoff

Check both www.qantas.com.au and www.virginblue.com.au
as both offer their wares via this medium.
You'll find the fares can vary wildly and literally day by day.
Start looking now for a few weeks so you get to know what the
"regular" fares are like so when you see a good one, you'll
know it's a bargain and then grab it online.
Virgin in particular are known for dropping "sales" in at very
short notice for very limited sale times, so keep looking.
An airpass is no longer the value it once was and is not worth
considering against the www fares on offer. (If you are okay in
being inflexible and are aware the internet fares come with heavy
restrictions on changes but you need something more
flexible that allows relatively hassle free changes, then the
airpass may come into consideration)
Cheers.
