Default My safari photos

Hi,

My first attempt to create a website. Right now it consist of photos
from a safari to Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara my wife and I participated
in last august.

I'm a newbie to photography and HTML, as well as the digital darkroom
part. I welcome any critisism. I want to learn.

Johan. Gothenburg, Sweden.

Hello Johan,
I viewed all your pictures, as I was curious because I also was in Kenya
(and Zanzibar!) last June. I don´t know much about HTML, so not much
criticism on that. I only found your thumbnails somewhat ´strange´. You
cannot judge the complete picture, but no problem for me. Maybe you could
improve the navigation through your site.
I know somewhat more about photography, as I am a amateur-photographer
myself. I think you have some very good pics between them. Especially
between the cheetahs, lions, giraffes and impala´s are some very good shots;
in composition, in capturing the right moment, and/or just technically
(sharpness, lighting). (by the way: the 3rd thumb of giraffes doesn´t relate
to the right picture!).
But in some other pics, the lighting and sharpness could be better. You
could think of removing the ´bad´ pictures from your site. It would improve
the overall opinion of your site. Some pics do have a strange color
(elephant, buffalo). That could be improved in the digital darkroom (Paint
Shop Pro, of Photoshop etc.).
I hope these remarks will help you something. Thank you for sharing us your
site and good luck with further photographing. If you would like to see: on
my site are some Kenya-galleries as well. I also welcome your criticism!
Greetz from Holland,
Jos
