Default Morocco - Merzouga

Hi there,
Next week I'll be travelling in Morocco, I have set up a plan but I'm
still uncertain abou Merzouga: Is it worth spending there two nights
(one whole day)? Maybe one is enough....
Any reccomendation about an accomodation there as well as in Fez is
greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Gianandrea.

I hope you did not have the cold weather and rain that has been in the
desert in Merzouga as well as i sunny southern Spain!!
This is now December 16- the day of the Jean michel Jarre concert in
Merzouga. Weather looks great!!!

Try:
www.haven-la-chance-desert-hotel-merzouga.com.

They have a very nice small hotel near merzouga- I just spoke with the
co- owner- An American Lady. they still have rooms with ensuite
toilet/hot showers for New year's Eve.

It really gets crowded n the desert (relatively speaking) over New
year's with large groups with 4 x 4's but Elena has assured me that
they are just taking familes at their hotel this year.

Also taking an over night Camel trip in the Erg Chebbie Dunes by
Merzouga is quite an experience. Under the stars.. If it is cold, do
problem. Yu are in a tent and have plenty of blankets..
