Hi there,
Just wondering if anyone could give me advice on how long this journey
would take by land + likely cost. Much appreciated!
Kind regards
Mike

I'll be interested in this, too..
Every report I have seen described barriers to the journey
because of fighting, Mauritania border problems, bad public
transportation.

Hi there, not sure if you're even still checking this message forum but i will continue anyway.
I cant help for the whole journey but from Marrakech to a place called Laayoune (very south of Morocco, actually in western sahara) takes approximately 14 hours on a coach and costs about £25 (one-way). This should give you an idea of travel time, no idea as to the cost for the rest of the journey though, sorry!
I have also heard that the border of Mauritania can be difficult but not impossible!
Hope this helps, if you're still interested that is!
