Hi,
Me and a couple of friends are planning a trip to Sharm el Sheikh at
the begining of august this year.
However, there are doubts about the trip due to the stories we have
heard regarding the temperature in august. I know it is going to be
hot (approx 40c), but we are on the coast and we are going to spend
alot of our time in the water amoungst the coral :-)
So, anyone out there who has been to the red sea during august?
If so, could you please set my mind at rest and inform me how bearable
it really is? Do you get used to it? Any advice?
TIA

Hi,
I've been to Sharm in July, and I must say that the temperatures ARE
unbearable unless you're in a liveaboard. Believe me, I'm from Brazil
and the one day I spent on land was a torture: during most of the day
people just lock themselves in their a/c rooms. If you're doing a
liveaboard though, the sea breeze will alleviate most of the opressing
feeling of heat.
