Default Camping in North Africa

Hi All,

I was thinking of having a bit of a camping or caravanning expedition to=
=20
North Africa either late this your, or early next year.=20

I am English, but currently live in the south of Spain, about 1 day from=
=20
Gibraltar. It seems like the trip across to N. Africa; Casabalanca;=20 Algiers etc.
could be quite exciting and VERY different from Europe. The=
=20
trouble is that I don't know a whole lot about it. What's safe, what's=20=

not, where is interesting/friendly to tourists campers etc.

So, if anyone out there has ever done anyhting like this before, I would=
=20
be really grateful of any suggestions, tips, information or experiences =

that you may have.

Thanks in advance Jason Farenden

Hi Jason,
I travel a lot of time down in Morocco as we are in Fuengirola, Spain.
Surely you have seen all those RV's from Germany, etc. They are all headed down to Morocco. Many go along the coast and find camping sites there.

I have stayed in a tent in Ifrance, Casablanca, Mohamedia,
Rabat just to begin.

Over in the desert area of Merzouga where we havre a small camping/bivouac place, there are many campers.

It is safer than Spain......
