Default Camping In Kruger Park

I would like to find out more about the quality of camping sites in the
Park.
I heard that "Letaba" is great for Camping in tents due to the nice green
grass and good ablution facilities.
How does Letaba's camping site compare with say "Skukuza"....and the others.
We plan on going there in July?
Please advise,

We stayed in a "safari tent" at Letaba which is located right at the edge of
the camping area. I wouldn't call the camp sites "nice green grass", but
they were clean and well maintained. The ablution facitlities are not very
new, but did seem to be clean and well maintained as well.

The restaurant at Letaba is located on a high bank overlooking the river
valley and is quiet a spectacular setting. Service and food was very good.

Be sure to take time to see the Elephant Museum while at Letaba. They have
the tusks of the "Magnificent Seven" there and these are well worth seeing.

Another interesting feature of Letaba when we were there was that there were
a few bushbuck wandering around inside the camp. It was nice to get a good
close look at these little antelope while eating breakfast. Someone must be
feeding them.

We did not find the game viewing at Letaba as productive as in some other
areas of Kruger, but did enjoy our stay there. We certainly enjoyed the
atmosphere more than the busy crowds at Skukuzu.

(It does seem a little strange for a Canadian be be sending South Africa
travel advice to a South African.)
