Hi all, I'm going to Africa in Aug-Sep, and am interested in buying a 4WD vehicle and
then reselling about 2 months later. Possible?

Found a company Drive South Africa, who does "rental-purchase", with a
guaranteed buy-back price. They have no other vehicles, and I'm wondering what
options exist for this:

- Other "rental-purchase" companies?
- Where can I purchase a 4WD?

Reliability is obviously a need, etc.

car and vice versa. You might get some info from those people.

Hi yes I have found another company with the product you are looking for. Drive Africa Rental Purchase. They sell you 4x4 as well as any kind of car you are looking for. On comparison they seem to offer you far more on the buy-back as the company you mentioned and they determine a pre arranged buy-back when purchasing the vehicle and on return will buy back at the determined price less any damages done to vehicle whilst you owned it. Have also come across them in 1991 Lonely Planet guide with readers having used this company without a hitch. Their adress is www.driveafrica.co.za
