Have any of you had your covid vaccine?

My 70 year old neighbor has had his first dose. I don't know anyone else in PT who's had one.

I know of 2 people here in PT: one is my 92 year old neighbour who's had both doses, the other a friend's mother who has also had both doses.

I know 3 over 80s, one in PT, one in France and one in the UK, those in PT and France received both doses before the UK resident who is still waiting for her 2nd dose. So perhaps all the UK media trumpeting the UK 'success' is premature.

If PT government are correct in saying that they'll be doing 100k a day during April, that's up to 3m in the month. Bearing in mind they've already done 1mil, another 1mil have already had Covid and are being done last, and under 18s aren't being done at all yet, that leaves say, 6m to do so either April, May or June could be a real possibility. I hope!

My husband had his first one almost a month ago and friend also had his, but both were done at the week-end.

A friend who works in the elderly home in Ourique has had both.

How old are they (if the question isn't too delicate)?
I think they're working down by age but not at all sure.

I have 2 friends who've had one dose a few weeks ago now - one is over 80 and the other early fifties with a heart problem

This is the thing - it's not just age.

The current phase is targeted at anyone over 80, certain occupational groups, and anyone over 50 with one of some specified chronic diseases. This phase is projected to be completed on 11th April, and the next phase begins, in age bands starting with 70 - 79 year olds and thus on down.

they are running out of time for me....registered in phase 1, over 70 with specific Heart problem. All confirmed on mini saude webpage.

My husband had a phone call, from the centro de saude, at 4.30 on Friday, for him to go the following morning.

You can check your "place in the queue" on the SNS website, they have a special Covid tab and if you follow it you can find out which phase you are in, most 65 + are Phase 2 which I estimate is about May at the current rate. All our friends in Brasil had their first one, my aged mother-in-law had both ( done as a drive-by didn't even have to leave the taxi ).

Well the answer came quickly......phone call Thursday afternoon.....just had jab and sat outside waiting for 30 mins before they let you go.

Good news at last! Where did you have it done, the main clinic? I noticed a large sign pointing into the sports centre yesterday which had an arrow pointing right and the word ‘vaccine’ underneath. Not sure what will happen there today when the car park is packed with stalls and people shopping at the farmers market...
a friend told me the other day that a large marquee was being erected in Lagoa which he thinks will be a vaccination centre. Hope it is and they get on with it at a faster rate

Was at main C de S....just as well not raining, as they obv call loads at same time, so probably 30 People all outside waiting to go in, but also people inside both waiting to be jabbed or waiting to be allowed out (30mins).
5or 6 Brits there at same time.
So 3.30 appointment got out at 5.
Yes I read a vaccine tent is going up in Lagoa.
