I went to a MB inside a RepSol on the N125, i chose (in portuguese of cors) something along the lines of MB phone > *entered phone number* > Selected vodafone > Then it asked for a kind of 4 digit number.

Gawd,I'm gonna do this from memory.
Pin...Pagamentos and outra servicos.
Telemoveis
Vitaminas
Vodafone
insert phone number
insert amount of credit
Now...maybe this is the point where you went wrong....if you ask for a factura it will ask you for your fiscal....I don't remember the alternative...but it's not factura.
Select the other...confirm your phone number and credit...voila!

I do it so automatically it's difficult to remember the sequence...but I think I'm almost right...give it another go,oh and it will also ask if you want a receipt...say yes, just incase the credit doesn't come thru

Depends. We're with Santander and I use their internet banking. I can top up my and my wife's mobiles quite easily. And the top up is almost instantaneous.

All has to be better than the girl in the Ayamonte Vodaphone shop.
When her boyfriend is in, the only chance for credit is when tounges are loosened and she gulps for air .... easier at the shopping cente where normal people work.
