Vet near Praia da Luz
Can anybody recommend a vet in Praia da Luz area?

We go to one is Espiche - very good very prof' even better than our UK vet.

If anybody needs a vet in the Tavira area the Clinica Veterinaria along from the bus station is excellent.

I lost a wonderful dog through the casual attitude of one of the vets in Tavira, they're OK for vaccinations, but the Hospital Vetrinario in Faro has up to date equipment and Dr. Mario Mansinho is thorough and caring. The problem was I knew nothing about leishmaniasis(sp?) and accepted the treatment which they gave which was too aggressive and killed him . Dogs can live years with it but our dear Figo died when he didn't have to.
P.S. The Clinica Vetrinaria along from the bus station wasn't there then but the municipal vet just before that was.
