Probably a temporary glitch, but it still isn't working today (Sunday)

Today (monday) the site is working again, and even has an English option.
No vaccination slots available in out area it says, but they're working on it.

Be interesting to see what `proof `of having been vaccinated will be given, esp if UK allows entry without quarantine from Portugal in June.
Not sure what the gap between your two jabs was but I e just had my first one and told to go back on 29 July, so a gap of three months. I told the nice nurse that I won’t be in Portugal in July as I will be in Japan, and will leave at the end of June. Not sure how this will play out. The set up at Lagos sports centre was very good and the people were polite and helpful, even when confirming I had no outstanding blood problems or am pregnant 🤰...

There seems to be a longer gap between AstraZeneca and Pfizer.

Like BB, I had my first one on Saturday and the next one is the end of June. Exactly four weeks later.

Not sure how anyone else has reacted to having the jab but I'm still creaking after receiving it at lunchtime on Monday. I was fine the rest of the day but didn't sleep best as the upper arm got slightly painful in the night. I decided to play golf on Tuesday even though I felt nauseous when I woke up. By the time I'd arrived at the (Silves) golf club I felt even worse but once I'd parted with my green fee I decided to carry on and see what would happen. Apart from six three-putts the game was fine and I didn't feel any pain the upper arm, but even though I took a buggy I was somewhat drained at the end of the round and totally drained by the time I got home at 6pm. After yet another poor sleep, yesterday I had zero energy and only managed to drag myself to the paper shop and back with a bit of a loop around the Lagos marina (2.5km) for exercise when normally I would have swum 1km before breakfast and then gone off walking. I woke at 3am this morning with gout in my right foot and the same lethargy I've had since Tuesday and after medicating for the gout and getting back to sleep at 5:30am I woke again at 8:30am, which for me feels like lunchtime. My balance is not great so I've binned the planned bike ride but I'll get out soon and see how far I can walk - hopefully 5 to 8km. I've read that it's good to get a reaction from the injection as it means your body is responding to it. That may well be the case but six three-putts???

Oh dear! Well, we just got our jabs an hour ago Janssen one-off vacc - all super efficient and nicely done, though a bit painful the actual jab ... but now you have us worried! Hope to have less of a reaction than you SP but like you say it means the system is doing its immune-system thing and getting active ... We will see ... Hoping you sleep better tonight!
They do suggest you take it easy for at least a couple of days after the jab and do not plan major activity - eg golf, bike rides, hiking etc !!! Loungers in the shade of the olive trees for us.

Quite the contrary , 48 hours after the jab played my best round of the year !! Notice in my arm I have had a jab but otherwise no adverse effects.

How did you manage to get the one-off J jab? That would have been ideal for me. My missus has both of hers in HK and got the choice of the Chinese one that is useless or the Fizer one. She chose Fizer. I have replied to the text I received to say that I won't be here in July on the date they have provided but I've not had a reply. While I don't want to bother the medical people when they are so busy I do need to know when I'll get the next one so that my travel plans work well accordingly. Not sure whether to send an email to the address on the card which was given to me after the jab.

Luck of the draw? but we did have a bit of a hiatus as we were due on 29 March initially but were put on hold with an SMS the day before that - I saw in the news that there was some sort of re-organisation going on to improve distribution and to get through the older population sooner to get onto the "workers" and rather suspect that some of the re-shuffling was probably to get the Janssen one issued, and issued to the over 50s so the Pfizer can be saved for the under 50s in view of the blood clots scare. So we are chuffed that it is over and done with - bar the side effects you grimly described.

As to your second dose, an email might help, or a phone call ? The phone calls we had have had an English speaker on hand so that helped but I don't know if that is standard ... Explain your travel plans and ask for advice as to how best to fit the vaccine to the plan - I am sure they would see the advisability of getting it done, even well-before, in advance of the travel. You could even, perhaps go to the Vacc Centre where you had the first one and ask in person how to go about it? Our Centre had people by the entrance sorting out some questions.

So, after finally being able to fill in the web form on Monday, there has been no response from the health service.

I will try again.

Just had second jab in Silves.
in the large hall set up for the job.
12 tents inside, but only 10 people waiting the 30 mins after and 6 waiting to be jabbed.
Place is just about empty, mainly second jabs.
