Telephone installation
hi folks, I take possesion of my house in Praia da Luz at the end of this month 
There was a phone in the house before but it was disconnected 1 year ago. Does anybody know if the line should still be there and what company I should contact to supply my service. TIA

try ringing portugal telecom and opening new account, should be all you need to do.

Better still nip into the PT office in Lagos and see what they say, they are incredibly helpful in there. The PT office is in the first big square.

Only had our line a couple of weeks,and its not working :curse:
sposed to be coming tomorrow to fix it
