SCHOOLS are they open in Portugal ? Summer Exams ?
I would be interested to learn whether some, all, any or no schools ~both primary and secondary ~are open and functioning in Portugal.
And if not is there a date set for them to return ?
Summer exams ? I have no personal interest, as such, but they seem to have managed some things a lot better than the UK Govt. and I wondered how they are managing the schools issue.

Students in my local area - Ourique - are being taught at home, via various on-line schemes.
Nursey schools are open, but it's voluntary and from what I hear from friends, students will be returning in September.
No idea about exams, sorry.

Kindergartens and creches are open.
Schools are operating partially in terms of classroom lessons since the 18th May - principally for those pupils who will be sitting exams this year in disciplines which they need for access to higher education (ie pupils in years 11 & 12).
The full scenario of special measures for schools is described here with a FAQ here

So they ARE allowing students preparing for the equivalent of A levs to carry on studying and taking the exams ?
This is one of the things I just cannot understand about what the UK Govt. has done re sixth formers : they cancelled the A levs three months ago ~ WHY ? What does that do to the students' motivation to study ?
And whatever was the problem about sitting exams well spaced out in a gym ? It just seems madness. To no beneficial health purpose.
