Chatting to the crew onboard and they are expecting Friday's sailing to be cancelled... just as a heads up!
Now to see if my 3.5ton land rover pulling a 3.5ton trailer can make it up the hills/mountains!
Maybe I should of researched the fastest route rather than the fastest oooops

Did you make Portsmouth/Santander? My son in law and his father made it back from Santander on Cap yesterday fairly uneventful crossing. Long delays with immigration control at Portsmouth.

Yeah it was no problem at all.... very busy and talk of tomorrow's being cancelled but thankfully a fine crossing for us.

Not on your subject but out of curiosity can I ask what your objective is in Óbidos ?
Have you bought or rented somewhere there ?
I have never visited but have read good things.
PS: If GUARDA is on your route you might think about overnighting there ? I found it very atmospheric.

I've visited every area within 2hrs of Lisbon airport many times over the last 5yrs (I tend to research a lot before making a big decision) and Obidos has always come out on top.
I've bought a nice place already and just agreed a price on a second place (fell in love with it 2yrs ago but was removed from sale, until 3weeks ago)
